We meet this challenge by concentrating on the development of new materials such as the optical silicone qualities, by constantly revising our internal organisation and providing specialist education for our ever growing team. However, all this is not just reserved for clients and interested parties who actively enquire and demand our services, but is also designed to be proactively introduced at trade fairs and symposiums. For the very first time this year BIW shall be exhibiting at the leading automotive industry fair, the IAA in Frankfurt, and introduce itself including the latest technical developments to a broad audience of experts during the professional visitor days. We are not only pleased to provide quick and professional answers to your enquiries and supply you with samples in the shortest possible time, but also to welcome you during the professional visitor days at the IAA. You will be surprised about our wide product range and production technology along with the presentation form of the latest automotive articles from BIW. Ralf Stoffels Dr. Markus Wiethoff BIW AND ”THE BULLITT“ from 15 to 18 September 2015 at the IAA in Frankfurt on the Main For the very first time, BIW shall be represented at the worldwide leading international automobile fair. The BIW trade fair team will introduce the innovative portfolio of CABLE PROTECTION SYSTEMS, SILICONE EXTRUSION AND SILICONE MOULDINGS on 60 m² in hall 4.1, booth C17. In conjunction with the large range of OEM-approved and field-tested solutions, the program is supplemented by numerous new developments in e-mobility and the heat protection area. A special highlight at the BIW exhibition stand will be a petrol-coloured 1968 Mustang Big Block Hatchback. This design icon is well-known to both old timer and film enthusiasts from the Hollywood movie of the same name: „The Bullitt“. This motor vehicle, the first active product placement in a cinema movie by Ford, not only wrote history; the green Mustang received its concise name ‚Hatchback‘ and became an automobile legend. Driven by Steve McQueen, ”The Bullitt“ was involved in one of the first car chases over several minutes in the history of cinema. This exciting pursuit through the streets of San Francisco can be relived at the wheel of the Bullitt at the BIW exhibition stand. Equipped with modern protective hose and mould solutions by BIW in the engine and interior, the registered motor vehicle is also equipped for the present. The BIW products shown in action are introduced by our BIW trade fair team in dialogue with our customers. The BIW automotive specialists are on site during the professional visitor days on 17 and 18 September 2015 (9:00 to 19:00 h), as well as the press during the press days on 15 and 16 September 2015 (8:00 to 19:00 h).
