The BIW Silicone Moulded Parts Division is a showpiece, and in recent years has experienced strong growth. Independent, self-sufficient and with its own organisation within the company, the division is known in the market for its very high degree of automation, and project management tailored to the individual customer.

In addition to a culture of continuous improvement, it is the daily work for all associates to analyse processes and optimise operations. Digitalisation is also a big subject for us. A central master computer helps to control, plan and monitor the interconnected machines of the division. Computer-assisted simulations are started for each customer enquiry, thereby ensuring maximum precision with individual mould preparation.

NEW - automatic handling concepts in conjunction with optical monitoring enables 100% control directly at the machine. The primary strengths of the Silicone Moulded Parts Division are pilot series and series productions of 3-D parts made of liquid silicone rubber (LSR) or heat cured rubber (HCR).
